There is no doubt that our focus at Dogdayz is on outdoor activity, and we are very proud of the high level of activity that we offer our guests.
But we also have a lot of time for our Seniors – those beautiful old dogs that love company and a cuddle. We are both able, and willing, to cater for these very special guests with indoor heated kennels and air conditioning in our kitchens, minimal stairs and reduced play sessions with constant access to comfortable beds. We also perform daily health checks with all our guests, which gives us an opportunity to identify and monitor any lumps, bumps and abrasions. With regular visits from our local Vets to support us, owners can rest assured that their senior dog is getting the very best of care. So if your best friend has special needs, give them a great holiday at Dogdayz!
This care also extends to dogs with special medical needs. It is challenging caring for a dog with diabetes and epilepsy, and many people are uncomfortable asking family or friends to commit to babysitting these special dogs. The same applies to dogs recovering from surgery. At Dogdayz we have the facilities, and trained staff to offer the standard of care required to administer medications at the appropriate times (usually every 12 hours). And unlike many kennels we have staff staying onsite overnight to monitor our guests as required.
