What a pleasure it has been caring for gorgeous Marley—a Kelpie x Whippet with one-eye and a huge heart! An older guest at 12 (but still young-at-heart), Marley enjoys exploring the gardens and yards at Dogdayz, as well as lots of cuddles with our team. And while Marley had her relaxing holiday, her family spent their time in Yarrawonga competing in the EC Griffith Cup Speed Boat races.
Marley’s mum Wendy is a bit of an adrenaline junkie who loves racing speed boats across the open waters. She’s a reasonably new competitor herself, though she comes from a family of racers which has given her a great start. And despite competing only a couple of times over the last 12 months Wendy achieved a 3rd in one of her 6 starts across the weekend!
Congratulations Wendy and the Miss Hydromania team, we will be keeping an eye on your progress. And we look forward to caring for Marley again soon!
